1. What are your private rooms’ capacities?

Our small rooms accept 1-6 people; Medium rooms accept up to 10 people; Large rooms accept up to 14 people; Party rooms accept up to 25 people.

 

2. Can I bring my own drinks or food?

STRICTLY NO BRING YOU OWN DRINKS AND FOOD. If you insist to bring your own drinks, corkage fee will be charged which is twice of the price at the market (e.g. Dan Murphy’s), and drinks will be confiscated and returned after your session.

 

3. Can I bring my own cake?

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own cake and celebrate your birthday at Partyworld.

 

4. Can we extend the time when our room is finished?

Room can be extended if it has no booking  after your session. Please advise our front desk staff at least 30 minutes before your session ending time, if you want to extend your session. This is particularly important during peak time such as weekend and public holidays.

 

5. Deposit required regarding make reservation for large rooms or party rooms.

$100 deposit is required upon making a large or party room. Please kindly pay the deposit before due date. Otherwise your room may be allocated to the next available customer.

 

Customers who wish to cancel the booking and require a deposit back must call to inform us at least 48 hours before your booking time. Deposit will be forfeited if you cancel your booking within 48 hours before your booking time. You will also lose your deposit if you are no show on the day. If you are running late for your booking, please kindly call us. If you wish to change to a smaller room, please call us in advance.

 

6. What are your accepted payment methods?

We accept cash, Visa and MasterCard credit cards and debit cards. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express (A-Mex) cards and Union pay for payment. Additionally, please note that we do not split bill.

 

7. Do you have a song list available for karaoke?

We do not have a published song list, our song database updates regularly and has a wide range of songs and artists. We do have some rooms with airplay function which allows you to connect your phone to our system. Please call us in advance to check the availability, and mention it while making a booking. 

 

8: Do you have a car park?

We do not have a car park. The nearest car park is the Wilson car park located in Melbourne Central. If you enjoy a karaoke session in the afternoon, you can request a tax invoice from our reception. Present this invoice at the guest service desk located on the first floor of Melbourne Central to redeem a parking discount. Flat parking rate applies after 5pm. For more detailed information regarding the parking rates and discount rates, please refer to the Wilson car park website.  

 

9. How long is a reservation held for?

We hold a reservation for 15 minutes. If your party has not arrived or called us in 15 minutes after your booking time, Partyworld karaoke reserves the right to mark your reservation as a no-show and cancel your booking. If you are running late, please call us in advance to change you booking time.

 

10. Do you have house rules?

Yes. While we welcome customers to have a party in our rooms, however certain rules are placed to help to keep the venue and patrons safe and clean. Smoking and vaping is prohibited. Intoxicated patrons will be refused entry. Service fees such as cleaning fee, damage fee and corkage fee will be applied if it occurs. Please read the house rules on the wall in the room if you have questions.
